High Performance Fluorine-Free Water Repellent OB-E5029

1. Performance Characteristics
- Brand-new modified Non-PFCs product with excellent water bead bouncing effect.
- Suitable for water-repellent finishing of synthetic fibers, cotton and their blended fabrics, providing excellent water resistance.
- Little impact on fabric shade and whiteness after finishing.
- Minor effect on fabric hand feeling with light hand-mark.
- Excellent durable water repellency.
- Good processing stability.
2. Basic Properties
- Appearance: Milky white liquid
- Composition: Fluorine-free polyurethane polymer
- Ionicity: Weak cationic
- Solid content: 24.5%±1%
- pH value: 3–6
- Flash point: >100°C
- Dilutability: Miscible with (cold) water in any ratio
- Compatibility: Compatible with most non-ionic or weak cationic textile finishing auxiliaries; preliminary testing is recommended in principle.
3. Application Guide
Generally applied by padding method to provide excellent water repellency.
Initial water repellency: OB-E5029: 30–50 g/L
Durable water repellency: OB-E5029: 40–60 g/L
Crosslinking Agent OB-E5101: 10–15 g/L
Processing Conditions
Synthetic fibers & blends:Padding, pick-up: 30–70% → Curing at 150–180°C for 60 s
Cotton & blends:Padding, pick-up: 30–70% → Drying at 110–120°C for 1 min →
Curing at 150–165°C for 3 min
Processing Tips:Water and oil repellency may be affected by residual impurities on fabrics, such as fiber oils, sizes, surfactants or dyeing auxiliaries. Softening or reactive fixing finishing may also influence the effect.It is recommended that fabrics be thoroughly cleaned before processing, without any finishing agents, especially softening and fixing treatments.
Users may adjust the specific process appropriately through sample testing according to actual requirements and production conditions.

Sealed storage in a cool and ventilated place at 5–35°C, away from direct sunlight.Shelf life: 12 months.This product is non-hazardous, non-flammable and non-explosive, and can be transported as a safe commodity.
